Today's Activity: Ask your mom if you can use a band-aid and a small piece of paper or note card. Write Luke 10:27 on the card: Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Decorate the card with a band-aid & next time you use a band-aid, remember the story of the Good Samaritan!
Today's Color is RED Every time you see something red today, think about the hurt man and his wounds, and think about the love of the man who helped him, and think about Love your neighbor as yourself!
TUESDAY: The Wise Builder Click here for the story ( Luke 6:46-49 ) Click here for the song Click here for the reflection page
Today's Verse is Matthew 7:24-25 Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.Though the rain comes and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on solid rock.
Ask your parents to help you make a Bible Verse card for Matthew 7:24-25 and tape a nail or a screw to it, so that next time you see a nail, you'll remember about the wise man!
Tuesday's Activities: Ask your parents if you can look through some of their tools. Ask them what the names are and what they are for. Maybe your parents could show you how to use a screwdriver or practicing hammering a nail together in an extra piece of wood. Next time you use those tools, even if it's MANY years from now, remember the story of the Wise Builder!
Today's Color is Blue: When you see the color blue today, remember that the rains came and that water rose, but the wise man's house was still standing!
Wednesday: The Lost Sheep Click here for today's story (Luke 15:1-7) Click here for today's song Click here for today's reflection page
Today's Verse: Matthew 18:14 It is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.
Ask your parents to help you make a Bible verse card for the verse. Decorate the card with cotton balls, so that every time you happen to see a cotton ball, you will remember the story of the Lost Sheep.
Today's Activity: At church, we play this game using students, but at home you can play this game with some stuffed animals. Make 3 hiding spots and hide one stuffed animal in one of the spots and see if your parents can guess which hiding spot the "lost lamb" is in.
Today's color is white and fluffy: When you see something white and fluffy today, remember the story of the Lost Lamb who didn't stay lost for long, because the Good Shepherd went and found him and brought him home! You are like a precious little to Jesus, and he promises to ALWAYS be with you!
